More than a story, but a heartfelt mission with Tawnya Anderson.

Our spotlight today is on Tawnya Anderson the Marketing and Event Director at Metro Appliances & More in Wichita, KS. Running on fumes 24-7 you never saw Tawnya anything but full of energy and willing to volunteer locally with many different associations. One, ironically, very dear to her heart is Go Red For Women part of American Heart Assocation…

But she never dreamed she would soon be a poster child. Tawnya suffered a stroke just this past April 3, 2015 at the age of 46. Supported and cheered on by her husband Jon Anderson and their combined family tribe of six kids, and a multitude of friends, Tawnya is able to be on this interview today to share her story. She has made it her mission to bring awareness through her experience.

We will also hear from Emily Gerstner who is the director for Go Red for Women in Wichita, KS. To share her story here would not have the impact listening to her tell her tale.

This is serious business my friends, you must listen and you must heed what Tawnya Anderson is sharing with you. It is Stroke Awareness Month and the American Stroke Association is striving to educate people. So how aware are you that this could take you down or someone you love in a fraction of a second???

Please, please listen and share this emotional, from the heart message that could save your life or someone you care dearly for...and maybe you'll never know who, but you know you shared.  Thank you, from the bottom of my heart :-)

Passing On A Smile,

Gail
