50 Year Anniversary on Throwback Thursday...

Is all about trending topic today on the 50 year Anniversary of an old TV Series I watched, "I Dream Of Jeannie!"

As I excercised this morning and watched The Today Show they had Barbara Eden, thee Jeannie on the show! What fun stuff to share on this 50 year anniversary!

Some of the stuff I did not know, but what mesmerized me the most was looking at a couple of clips in color! I don't ever remember seeing this show in color. So, of course, I had to do some research afterwards and learned that the series ran from 1965-1970. Those were the days that we only had a black and white TV.

Okay, if you're real young and you're reading this - talk to your grand parents or Google it...cause once upon a time, that's all we could watch cause color was not yet available. In my research of a Trivia site I learned that yes, indeed the first episode was in black and white because the producers did not want to pay an extra $400 an episode to have it in color. They later colorized all the episodes! So even if I'd had a color TV when it came on I would have only seen it in black and white!

Passing On A Smile,
