Thank you for those fighting for our freedom...

On this show I talk about the movie American Sniper...

Our grandson is a young man of the utmost values and beliefs and so believes in our country, yet due to a metabolic disorder is unable to serve. But his Dad served in the Air Force for 25 years.

So when Andrew wanted us, as a family, to go to see this movie, it was a no-brainer. When we were almost there about 5:45 PM on a Saturday night the kids were already there and found out the 6:30 show was sold out. So we all opted to go to the 7:00 PM at the IMax, which also sold out!

My hubby and I had originally planned to wait for the DVD of the movie, but I am so grateful we went with the family instead. A lot of memories emerged for my son-in-law who was deployed to some very remote and secret locations. We always knew the vicinity of where he was, but his last deployment of 6 months were very secret. Thankfully he was not technically in the heart of the combat, but he received many commendations for keeping the most planes in the air and his crew loved him!

When you listen to my show, you will most likely know someone that has someone in their lives, or you yourself know the sacrifice...I thank you and hope you will share this so more can be reminded to say thank you.
